Poem for #facepalm

for my heweb twitter friends:

There once was a dreamer named #thumbsup
Her heart she did try to not corrup’
Alas, in came the boss
Her grin she did toss
Madness over-runneth her cup.

In walked #unrealisticexpectations with sexy swagger
Wooing us with songs like Mick Jagger.
It’s ruined my life-
Nothing but strife
Makes me wanna use this here dagger.

But #facepalm is sent from above
You caress my face with so much love.
When I dare not see
What is ailing me
You cover my eyes like a warm glove.
